Your responsibilities:
· You will provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, and conduct physiotherapy interventions with children (birth-18 years old) with a wide variety of needs (including developmental, neurological and musculoskeletal)
· You would develop treatment plans directed towards maintaining and enhancing your clients’ physical abilities, lifestyle and well-being
· You will provide education, resources and feedback to families
· You follow an evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment
· You will maintain complete and accurate medical records using Jane our Electronic Medical Record System
· You will communicate effectively and maintain/develop relationships with referring physicians, healthcare providers and other relevant community members
· You will complete other related duties as requested
Your expertise:
· Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario – new graduates are welcome to apply
· Experience in pediatrics is preferred
· Current certification in First Aid and CPR
· Vulnerable Sector Check required
· Proof of Vaccination (including COVID) required
· Excellent communication and ability to engage all ages
· Effective time management skills including caseload prioritizations and management
· Experience with virtual care would be an asset
· Competency with electronic documentation (Jane) and communication
Salary
Competitive fee split negotiable based on experience.
Schedule
The current position is part-time (16-20 hrs/week) with the possibility of increasing to full time. Hours of availability to include select daytime, afternoon and evening hours.
