Erin grew up outside of Windsor, Ontario before moving to the Kitchener-Waterloo area. From a young age she had a passion for sport and children, spending time teaching figure skating and being a camp counsellor. She was a competitive synchronized figure skater, skating on Team Canada for 3 years. It was after an injury that required time in physiotherapy that Erin found her calling. Erin completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo in 2006, then went on to complete her Masters in Physiotherapy from Griffith University in Australia in 2010. During her Masters she did a placement in a children’s hospital and her passion for pediatric physiotherapy was sparked. Upon returning home she immediately pursued a job in pediatrics and was a part of a wonderful interdisciplinary team, which helped set the foundation for the rest of her career. Erin continues to pursue additional education courses in order to expand her skill set and keep up with current best practice. Erin is a mom of 2 busy young girls and enjoys spending time outside at the park, riding bikes or going on adventures.
Ashley has always had a passion for working with kids! Growing up in Guelph, Ontario she worked as a camp counsellor and gymnastic coach, she loved creating a fun learning environment for the children she worked with. Ashley was also a competitive cheerleader and track and field athlete, competing all over North America. These sports led to numerous injuries and physiotherapy treatments, which created an interest in the profession. Ashley completed her Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, while at Waterloo she worked at The Infant & Child Studies Group, assisting in research on child development. She recently completed her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from Western University, where she did a placement at a pediatric hospital in London, England, this confirmed that pediatric physiotherapy was the place for her! She has completed additional training in DMI Introductory Level A and looks forward to continuing to take more courses to ensure she is providing the highest quality care! In her free time, Ashley loves camping, hiking, coaching gymnastics, and spending time with friends.
